This example shows how you can get a pointy hex grid on hills (generated from the built-in PerlinNoise function) in the editor using the new mesh grid builders we introduced in Grids 1.14.

To try this example, download the package, import Grids into a new project, import the package, and open the scene HillsPointyHex.
