[slogan]This is what Grids did for us today. What can Grids do for you?[/slogan]
The aim of Game 12 is to reach the the goal without being caught by a monster. You do this by placing and removing walls to trap the monsters and to create a safe path to the finish.
As we said before, there are many ways to work with edges of grids. In this game, we represent faces, edges, and vertices using a single rectangular grid. This approach is conceptually the simplest, although you need a special map so that faces, edges, and vertices can be different sizes. It also forces you to treat faces, edges and vertices uniformly – you have to use the same grid cell for all three. In this case it works well, but in other games other approaches may be better.
