A few weeks ago we released a new (free!) package on the Unity Asset store. The package contains some extension methods for Unity classes, and a few light-weight utility classes. We have been using the classes in most of our examples, and all 30 Games from our 30 Games in 30 Days project. Because we want to use this library in our other products too, we decided to make it a standalone package that we will give away for free. (The source code is included with all our Grids packages, so if you are a Grids user, you already have it 🙂 For more detail on what is included in the package, see http://gamelogic.co.za/unity-extensions/.
Grids is now available in the Game Maker Marketplace. Grids is a library for Game Maker that allows you to rapidly implement games built on hex grids.
