Day 25 Game 25: 30 games in 30 days using Grids
This is what Grids did for us today. What can Grids do for you?
In today’s game you have to shuffle a board of numbers so that each block contains the difference of the two numbers above it.
Despite it’s appearance, this grid is not a rectangular grid. It is a hex grid, used with a special map, to form a “bricks grid”. The bricks grid has the same connectivity as an ordinary hex grid – each cell has six neighbors – the only difference is the shapes of the cells. The map handles doing the correct conversions between grid and screen coordinates for rectangular shaped cells.
